This is the story of entrepreneur, Dr. Arvind Johari. Despite his humble beginnings, Dr. Johari was determined to make a difference in the world. He started his journey by founding a small primary school in his community in 1985.
As the primary school flourished, he realized the importance of higher education. With his innovative spirit, he established a college on a small plot of land in 2006. Initially the college provided courses in technical and management education but soon they started providing an array of other courses such as B.Com and B.A. Today the college provides education to around 2000 students. For the 2025-2026 session, they are even working on getting registered to provide a course in education called Integrated Teacher’s Education Program.

Dr. Johari had also built a hospital named Sukun Hospital and recognizing the growing demand for medical professionals, he has ventured into building a medical college, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and renowned faculty members in the near future. But his ambitions doesn’t stop there. Understanding the significance of hospitality, he ventured into the hotel industry, creating a luxurious hotel named Sukun Hotel with numerous amenities to cater to the guests including a multiplex and a community centre.
Despite his success in various industries, Dr. Johari saw an opportunity in the market to create efficient payment solutions. Inspired by his own experiences as a businessman, he has decided to launch a payment gateway service in the future.
Besides his dedication to create educational opportunities for the masses, Dr. Johari also has an immense thirst for knowledge. On 16 April, 2023 he received his PhD from Maryland State University, USA.

Through his perseverance, and innovative thinking, Dr. Johari became a beacon of entrepreneurship, leaving a lasting impact on education, healthcare, hospitality, and commerce in his community and beyond.
